The Pacific International Maritime Exposition is held biennially. With each event, the showcase has expanded and levels of interest and participation have grown.

The Pacific International Maritime Exposition is recognised as a focal point for international maritime, defence and naval technology.
 
In 2006 it attracted a record 324 exhibitors from throughout Australia and 15 other nations. The event drew a record 10,000 accredited trade and military visitations.
 
There were 36 top level trade, diplomatic and military delegations from 27 different nations.
 
Six major conferences were held in conjunction with the event with a record number of delegates and speakers.
 
There were also a record 101 accredited journalists and photographers from both the general media and specialist maritime and naval defence publications from throughout Australia and the world.

The presentation of official photographic identification (passport, drivers license, defence ID etc) will be required to claim your Trade Visitor badge.
 
For accreditation purposes, evidence of corporate or industry affiliation (such as applicable business card, association membership card etc) may also be required.
 
You will need to carry photo-ID will you at all times while attending Pacific 2008.
