The Pacific 2006 International Maritime and Naval Exposition has been hailed as an "outstanding success" by exhibitors, delegates, visitors and organisers.

With an increased number of exhibitors, there was also a large increase in accredited trade and military visitors and an increase in the number and variety of official trade delegations ensured the show met or exceeded all expectations.

Media coverage at the event was far greater that at the two previous events with representation from local press, TV and specialist media and many overseas representatives of defence and maritime publications attending.
